I Love Stonehenge Brooch or Necklace

We love Stonehenge and we know you do too, so we've made some brooches and necklaces for you!

These brooches/necklaces are made using old information signs from the Stonehenge visitor centre. They gave them to us when they updated their whole display a few years ago!

We have cut out the word "Stonehenge" from the signs to make these.

They also gave us some white acrylic shelving which we've used for the backing for these.

The little stone i's are made from chunky 5mm thick grey acrylic that we've hand filed to carve in the nobbly rock edges - each one will look slightly different, but as you can see from the four pictured here, they're all pretty similar!

The red hearts are also cut from the edges of the information signs.

**Please note that this red is translucent, so you can see a bit of the glue showing through on the hearts in places, making it look slightly mottled at certain angles**

The brooch/necklace measures approx 5.7cm wide, and has a safety catch brooch pin glued to the back.

Choose between a 45cm or 60cm silver-plated chain for the necklace version.

We have kept a note of which information signs each "Stonehenge" word was cut out from, and you'll receive a little information sheet telling you which one yours came from! We think we have enough to make about 30 brooches in total.

In the images here you can see some of the original signs that we've cut up for these. They are screenprinted with all the information about the objects that are in the Stonehenge visitor centre.
